FROM HOLIDAY SKETCHES TO HIGHWAY STRETCHES: SNL FAN-FAVORITES DILMANS BABY FOOD AND SPANISH JIM’S RUST REMOVER HIT THE OPEN ROAD WITH ‘THE EDGE’ MOTORCYCLE TOUR
Late-Night TV’s Most Unlikely Brands Join Forces to Sponsor the Ultimate Two-Wheeled Adventure
LAS VEGAS, NV — AUGUST 20, 2026 — The Edge - The Touring Motorcycle Ride proudly announced today that it has officially secured two of the most unforgettable sponsors in late-night television history: Dilmans Baby Food and Spanish Jim’s Rust Remover. Best known for their hilarious, unforgettable commercial spots during the Saturday Night Live Christmas Special, both brands have signed on as official partners for the upcoming cross-country motorcycle tour, bringing an entirely new meaning to the phrase "smooth ride."
The partnership brings together the rugged, leather-clad world of motorcycle riding with two products that nobody knew belonged together until now. The Edge organizers say the sponsorship makes perfect sense for riders who face the harsh elements of the open road and need both heavy-duty maintenance and easily digestible nutrition.
"We are absolutely thrilled, and slightly confused, to welcome Dilmans Baby Food and Spanish Jim’s Rust Remover to The Edge family," said Russ Herriott, Founder and Director of The Edge. "When you are riding up to 500 miles a day, hey man, your bike gets rusty and your stomach gets empty. Now, our riders can wipe down their exhaust pipes with Spanish Jim’s maximum-strength formula and immediately pop open a jar of Dilmans mashed peas without ever stepping off their choppers. It is a match made in late-night heaven."
The sponsors plan to fully integrate into the Edge Touring Motorcycle Ride experience, offering unique, interactive booths at every major stop along the route.
- The Spanish Jim "De-Rusting Station": Mechanics will be on hand to blast away road grime, rust, and tarnish from vintage bikes using Spanish Jim’s famous, fast-acting formula.
- The Dilmans "Baby Got to Have its Dilmans" Pit Stop: Riders can recharge their own batteries with gourmet, pureed comfort foods served in convenient, tamper and vibration-proof jars.
"People told us baby food wasn't built for the biker lifestyle," said a Lola Heatherton, Vice President for Dilmans Baby Food. "But we say, if it can soothe a crying infant at 3:00 AM, it can definitely soothe a burly biker who has been sitting on a vibrating engine for twelve hours straight. The Edge give us the opportunity to introduce our Grab and Go bottle that dispenses your favorite Dilmans flavor. Strap the base securely to the handlebars and snap in the bottle and go!"
The Edge kicks off Sept 1 with The Edge Concert Tour with a ride to see Guns N Roses in San Diego and Pasadena and Dorothy in Laughlin, NV. The Edge, promising thousands of miles of scenic highways, roaring engines, and now, the distinct smell of heavy-duty chemical solvent and oh so sweet pureed vegetables.
